What are different types of tube bending?
- Press Bending - uses a bend die to force the tube to bend in a certain direction. This is not very precise and deform the tube.
- Rotary Draw Bending - a rotary draw machine bends the tube with a series of die sets and it creates a more precise bend.
- Roll Bending - a jig, or a machine with three rollers, is generally used for sheet metal and metal bars.
Why should I use an Imperial Stride pipe cutter over a hacksaw?
Pipe cutters are generally used by plumbers for cutting certain pieces of pipe. The benefit to these tools is that they are going to cut through the pipe faster and cleaner than a hacksaw would.
