What kind of respirator should be used for smoke?
When dealing with smoke a particulate (N95) respirator can protect your lungs. A one-strap mask or a classic air purifying respirator can not protect you when a large amount of smoke appears.
How often should I replace my dust mask?
Dust masks only protect for a short period of time and should be changed out often. You should change your dust mask every 8 hours or as soon as it appears dirty.
