No - the Cadet RBF101 operates with a simple on/off switch and does not include a thermostat. You flip it on to get heat and off when you’re done. For precise temperature control, pair it with a separate wall thermostat or timer switch, but that’s optional.
What size room is the Cadet RBF101 designed to heat?
The RBF101’s 1000 W fan-forced output is best suited for small bathrooms and powder rooms up to roughly 50-80 sq ft. In larger bathrooms or open areas, heating performance may feel limited compared with higher-watt models.
Can I install the RBF101 in a ceiling or horizontal position?
No. The RBF101 is approved for vertical wall mounting only. It must be installed in a dedicated Cadet wall can (sold separately) and wired per local code. Incorrect mounting can lead to poor heat distribution and may violate electrical codes.
