How are products shipped?
We partnered with UPS and USPS to ship most of our smaller items. We work with several freight carriers to handle larger equipment.
Do you require a minimum order?
No, HomElectrical has no order minimums on items we list. However, some manufacturers only sell their items by the case.
What is a liftgate and why do I need it?
A lift gate is an elevator-like attachment to the back of a truck. Lift gates are needed to help load and unload heavy products.In most case, a lift gate is needed for delivery to area where a forklift or a loading dock are not available. Without lift gate service, the freight carrier will expect you to unload the items from its truck. What is the residential fee?
Residential fees are added to freight shipments to residential addresses. The fee covers the added labor cost of delivering and unloading the products to areas where it is difficult for their trucks to access or to areas where loading docks are not available.
If I don’t see the models or brands on your website, does that mean you don’t offer it?
No. As a matter of fact, HomElectrical works with over 500 electrical, lighting and HVAC manufacturers, making us your one-stop shop. ? Our team is working diligently to add new products every day. If you are not able to find it on our website, please contact us so one of our customer appreciation team members can assist you finding it or provide an equivalent.
When will my order arrive?
Please refer to our Shipping Policy page to get a rough estimate of shipping time.Once your order has been processed, you can track it through myAccount or by entering your order information on the Order Tracking Tool.Additionally, tracking Information is also emailed to you once your order ships. For orders shipped on a freight truck, please visit the provided freight company for tracking updates.
Do you sell products to the DIYers?
HomElectrical offers thousands of products to all home projects. However, please note some manufacturers will not honor their warranties on electrical equipment that has been improperly installed by non-licensed contractors.
Do you offer discount, coupons, or special sales?
We frequently offer discounts and special sales. Please sign up for our newsletter to receive the most up to date sales and promotions.
Can I return a product if it is not what I expected?
Yes, you can return a product if it is not what you expected. Most new and unopened products can be returned up to 180 days of receiving them. However, returns over 30 days will be subject to a 30% restocking fee.
Do you offer used products?
No, every product HomElectrical sells is new from the manufacturer. We don't offer used items because we believe you get a better value from buying new.
Will HomElectrical contribute to my fundraiser or non-profit?
HomElectrical is always looking for ways to be involved in the community and has long-standing relationships with a number of local non-profit organizations. We always welcome new invitations to be part of worthy causes that align with our beliefs, but circumstances do not always allow us to participate. Do you ship Internationally?
Yes, we sell all our products to customers in Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Some restrictions may apply. Please make sure the electrical equipment you are considering will work within your country’s standards.
