Bosch Laser Measure

Laser measures, also called laser distance measures, work as an alternative to traditional metal tape measures. They help measure long distances and can assist professionals in calculating accurate lengths, widths, and heights. They provide a high level of accuracy and, unlike a tape measure, do not require you to guess the measurement when it falls between two markings. Instead, the device calculates a precise measurement for you. Additionally, they allow you to work without bending a tape measure or requiring another set of hands.

To operate, hold the laser measure against the starting point and turn it towards the distance you wish to measure. Once the laser hits an object on the other end, it calculates the distance and displays it on the screen.

Many laser measures can measure accurately within 1/8 inch. Some can offer accuracy within 1/16 inch. How far a laser measure can measure depends on the model itself. Bosch offers units that offer maximum measuring distances from 65-ft all the way up to units with a 400-ft maximum.

The Bosch laser measure BLAZE series units allow for a one-person operation. Sized to stay in easy-to-reach places, you can find units to keep in your pocket or tool belt. They feature Bluetooth connectivity to connect tools to smart phones or tablets. This enables the operator to transfer measurements onto images and project management using their free MeasureOn app.

The Bosch BLAZE GLM 20 laser measure features precise laser measurement technology that measures accuracy of plus or minus 1/8-inch. It offers a range up to 65-ft. The real-time measurement mode allows walk-off measurements from the wall and other surfaces. It features a backlit display for easy viewing, even in dark areas.

The Bosch BLAZE Pro laser measure offers a max range up to 165 ft. With multiple measuring features, this unit can calculate distance, square footage, volume, and indirect measurements. It provides storage for up to 10 measurements.

Their BLAZE outdoor laser measures include the GLM400CL. This unit features an adjustable zoom camera that can find the laser spot even in bright conditions or busy backgrounds. This accurate and long-range measuring tool provides accuracy up to 1/16-in, and it can measure up to 400-ft.
