Is this T8 LED tube plug-and-play or ballast bypass?
This is a ballast bypass (direct wire) T8 LED tube. The existing ballast must be removed or bypassed, and line voltage is wired directly to the lamp sockets. This improves long-term reliability by eliminating ballast failures.
Can I change the brightness and color after installation?
The wattage and color temperature are selectable before installation using the built-in Select-N-Switch. Once installed, the setting stays locked unless the fixture is opened and adjusted again.
Can this be used in enclosed or food-service fixtures?
Yes. This tube is approved for enclosed fixtures, damp-location rated, and NSF certified, making it suitable for kitchens, food prep areas, and commercial environments.
