What voltage does the Cadet RMC162W require?
This model must be hardwired to a 208V or 240V circuit. It does not operate on standard 120V power. Always verify your circuit voltage before ordering or installing.
Does the RMC162W include a thermostat?
No. A thermostat is required for operation but is sold separately. Cadet recommends using an electronic wall thermostat for more precise temperature control and better comfort.
How much space should be kept clear around the heater?
Keep at least 6 inches from adjacent surfaces and 3 feet of open space in front of the grill for safe airflow. Cadet recommends 12 inches of clearance from all surfaces for longer, cleaner performance.
