Does the Cadet RMC151W include a thermostat?
No. This model requires a line-voltage wall thermostat (sold separately). For best comfort and efficiency, Cadet recommends using an electronic wall thermostat to maintain steady room temperatures.
What voltage does this heater run on?
The RMC151W is designed for 120V dedicated circuits only. It supports multi-watt operation (500W, 1000W, or 1500W), giving installers flexibility based on room size and available electrical capacity.
Where should this wall heater be installed?
Install it on an interior wall for best performance. Maintain at least 6 inches of clearance from side surfaces, 4.5 inches from the floor, and 3 feet in front of the heater for furniture or obstructions. This model is not approved for ceiling installation.
