Does this downlight work in both residential and commercial buildings?
Yes. This fixture is designed for residential and commercial use and runs on 120–277V universal voltage, which covers most standard and commercial power systems. It’s also IC rated, airtight, and Energy Star certified, helping meet building and energy codes.
Can I change the brightness and color temperature after installation?
Yes. The built-in Select-N-Switch lets you choose between 16.5W, 23W, or 29W and five color temperatures (2700K–5000K) from the junction box. You can also fine-tune light levels using 0–10V dimming down to 5%.
Does this fixture require a recessed housing or can?
No. This model does not fit into a recessed can and does not require housing for remodel jobs. For new construction, a new construction plate is recommended, and a junction box mounting plate is included for easier installation.
