Do I need a separate thermostat for the Cadet CSC101TW?
No. The Cadet CSC101TW comes with a built-in single-pole thermostat that lets you set and hold your desired temperature between 40°F and 85°F. You won’t need to buy or install a separate thermostat unless you want more advanced control (like a line-voltage thermostat with programmability).
Can this heater be installed horizontally or on the ceiling?
Yes - the CSC101TW supports both vertical and horizontal wall mounting right out of the box. It can also be installed in a ceiling as long as the model is 1500W or less (the CSC101TW is 1000W), giving you flexibility in tight or unusual spaces.
What safety features are built into the heater?
The CSC101TW includes a high-temperature manual reset safety shutoff and a backup thermal fuse that cuts power if the heater gets too hot. These protections help prevent overheating and add a layer of safety in occupied spaces.
