The J.W. 1 lb Can of Powder Solar Welding Flux is specially formulated to shield the back of weld joints from oxygen, as well as dissipate heat and unwanted oxides. This welding flux effectively aids in the flow of filler metal over the base metal and also cleans the surface of the metal. For proper use and best results, mix with alcohol and brush onto the weld joint. When applied, welding flux also forms a protective barrier to prevent re-oxidation and heat scale.
