What is a baseboard heater?

The Stelpro ALC series architectural baseboard heaters are ideal for heating public places like schools, shopping centers, hospitals, and office buildings. They are manufactured with a solid 18-gauge steel cabinet and operate using bottom air intake and top air discharge. Both models also feature a full-length wire-way and thermal protection that is provided by an automatic reset feature. Both ALC series baseboards use a tubular, stainless steel sheathed element with boxed aluminum fins to heat. The fins improve the heat dissipation and the sheathed element is suspended in nylon sleeves to expansion and contraction noises are eliminated. The ALC3A series is a full size heater and offers an incredible heat density of 500 W per linear foot. Blank selection are also available for peripheral heating.

What is a mini baseboard heater?

The ALC1B series is a mini architectural baseboard heater model and its very compact size allows for versatility when installing. Both ALC series architectural baseboard heaters come with a 10 year warranty for the heater and a one year warranty for the other components. The wattages are lower, making them great for smaller spaces.

What is electric convection heating?

Convection heating is a technique which operates via air convection currents circulating across the heating element through the body of the unit. The air is then heated up and becomes buoyant enough to rise. This is an effective heating method as it provides a steady stream of heat when and where you need it.
