What is an elevator bulb?
Elevator bulbs are bulbs designed to work in fixtures found in elevators or in display applications. They often have a bayonet base, known as a twist-and-lock base, which requires a push-and-twist action to lock the bulb into place. Elevator bulbs work in spot or flood lighting applications.
