Where should Qmark residential fan-forced heaters be installed?
These units are ideal for residential and commercial rooms where space is limited. Easily surface mounted to the wall, these heaters allow access to the inner mechanics without disturbing the internal wiring and electrical controls. When installing, the following clearances should be maintained:
- Bottom of heater to floor should be 4 1/2" with an optimum height is 18" to 24."
- Sides of heater to adjacent wall should be 6" with an an optimum minimum height of 12."
How often should I clean and maintenance Qmark residential fan-forced wall heaters?
These heaters should be serviced at least annually by a qualified service personnel. Compressed air can be used to blow any dust, dirt, or debris accumulated inside of the heater. Using a damp cloth, wipe any excess dust from the grille as well as the exterior surface of the unit.
How does the automatic fan delay work?
This feature allows the heating element to heat up first before circulating the air through the unit. This fan delay prevents cold start ups and allows the heater to heat spaces quicker and more efficiently.
What are the mounting limitations for the Qmark residential fan-forced wall heater?
- Do not install this unit closer than 12" to the floor or adjacent wall.
- The wall heater must not exceed 36" to the ceiling
- Do not install heater behind any doors, towel racks, or any obstructing objects.
- Do not install heater upside down or sideways.
