A 7/8 Inch tampered rod, built in lubricator, and muffler is featured in the Pneumatic Tamper. The pneumatic tamper has a compact design for back fill tampering between foundations and around other jobsite obstructions. Dirt is kept out of the barrel by a dual sand wiper front end. A plated piston for excellent wear resistance is added.
