Anchor Mild Steel .035" Welding Wire

Use the Anchor Brand Mild Steel .035" Welding Wire for a guaranteed high-quality welding job. Mild steel construction contains high levels of manganese and silicon to provide high-quality welds when used on dirty, oily, or rusty steel. S-6 wire is designed to provide porosity-free, x-ray quality welds at the highest tensile strength of all plain carbon steel wires. High silicon content in wire increases the fluidity of the weld pool to ensure a smoother bead appearance to result in minimum post-weld grinding. Welding wire requires a shielding gas of CO2 and/or CO2 mix. Conforms to AWS 5.18 and CSA 48.4.
