Pendant stations, also known as pendant controls, consist of hanging control systems equipped with push buttons, switches, and other controls. Pendant control stations often see use controlling overhead equipment or lifting and handling machinery, like cranes and hoists, while some pendant stations control robotic equipment.

Though they typically connect to machinery using a cabling system, some manufacturers make wireless options.
