CyberTech Lighting LED Wall Pack

Wall pack lights are mounted on a building’s exterior, typically on the outside facing walls. They are used to create visibility in areas where pedestrians or vehicles frequent. Full cutoff wall packs limit light output to directly below the lamp, while semi cutoff wall packs distribute light down and outward from the fixture. Full cutoff wall packs are dark sky compliant, meaning they limit contribution to light pollution.

Wall packs are used in several different applications.

• Exterior Building Lighting: This is the most popular use of wall packs. They are mounted on the outside walls of buildings. They illuminate the ground from a building’s walls. Commercial and industrial buildings use wall packs the most.
• Tunnel Lighting: Tunnels and corridors tend to have limited overhead spaces, so wall packs are a good lighting solution. They provide wide beams of light while keeping the fixtures up and out of the way.
• Walkway Lighting: For walkways that are not able to use traditional post lighting and are instead lined by walls or other vertical surfaces, wall packs can be mounted to provide illumination.
• Interior Wall Lighting: Many industrial buildings such as warehouses use wall packs to light their interiors. Other interiors that have overhead obstructions like tall shelving also use wall packs to light the areas overhead light cannot reach.
• Entryway Lighting: Because of their compact fixtures and weather resistance, wall packs are great options for lighting entryways. Most non-covered entryways on any type of building have a wall pack installed to satisfy building safety codes.

LEDs offer many benefits for wall pack lighting. The main reason for making the upgrade is the drastic increase in energy efficiency. They also require little maintenance because of the bulb’s long lifespan.
