STELPRO 1500W SCA Architectural Baseboard Heater 277 V, 250 W Per Linear Foot is well suited for complementary perimeter heating in public places like shopping malls, hospitals, schools, and similar locations. The SCA baseboard heater is built with a 16-gauge steel front panel and an 18-gauge steel cabinet that are coated with a durable epoxy-polyester powdercoat. It operates using top air discharge and front air intake to circulate the heated air throughout the space. Thermal protection is provided with the automatic reset feature. The full-length wireway allows for wiring compartments to be located at both ends of the device. The heater has a single tubular, stainless steel sheathed element that is securely fastened at the center of the heater and is floating in nylon sleeves at each end to eliminate expansion and contraction noises. It also contains boxed aluminum fins that improve heat dissipation. The heater is compatible with a built-in tamper-proof thermostat that is available for separate purchase and, when installed, the thermostat is accessible without removing the front grill. The heater is surface mountable or can be wall or floor mounted with a pedestal kit (not included). A 10-year warranty is included for the element and a 1-year warranty is included for the other components.
