STELPRO 800W SCA Architectural Baseboard Heater 277 V, 200 W Per Linear Foot can be surface mounted or wall or floor mounted with a pedestal kit (not included). The single tubular, stainless steel sheathed element that features boxed aluminum fins improve heat dissipation. The sheathed element is securely fastened at the center of the heater and it is floating in nylon sleeves at each end to eliminate expansion and contraction noises. Thermal protection is provided by the automatic reset feature. The heater is manufactured with an 18-gauge steel cabinet and a 16-gauge steel front panel that are covered with a durable epoxy-polyester powder coat. This heater is perfect for complementary perimeter heating in public places like schools, shopping malls, hospitals, and more. The heater uses front air intake and top air discharge to circulate the heated air throughout the space. The full-length wireway allows for wiring compartments to be placed at both ends of the unit. The SCA baseboard heater is compatible with a built-in tamper-proof thermostat that is available for separate purchase. When installed, the thermostat is accessible without removing the front grill. A 10-year warranty is included for the element and a 1-year warranty is included for the other components.
