The cut line for LED Strip Lights is between the copper dots on the strip light. After you have found the cut line, cut the necessary amount needed to meet the measurements. To cut the LED strip light, you can use sharp scissors, a utility knife or even a pair of wire cutters. These items are all sharp enough to separate the strip lights evenly without causing damage to the light.

To solder an LED tape light, first unplug the power supply of the tape lights.

Then, cut along the marked cut lines, to separate the ends.

Once the light is cut, add solder to each end of the wire you are using.

Add the solder to the copper pads on the lights.

Then attach the wires to the copper pads and test if the lights work.
