The handles have heavy vinyl grips with flat grip ends that allow for 90° cuts. These bolt cutters are designed with steel handles and precision ground, forged alloy steel jaws. These bolt cutters are made for constant use in the most demanding applications. The cutting capacity for hard materials is up to Brinell 400, Rockwell C42. The cutting capacity for soft materials is up to Brinell 300, Rockwell C31. The Lever design creates 4,000 pounds of jaw pressure with 50 pounds of hand pressure.
