3M Violet Vinyl Electrical Color Coding Tape is designed to aid in identification and can also be used to color code motor leads and piping systems as well as to mark safety areas. Tape has electrical insulating properties, wraps smoothly, and conforms well while maintaining stability over a wide array of temperatures. Used to inhibit corrosion of electrical conductors, quality tape also features a pressure-sensitive, rubber-based adhesive.
