Klein Tools 24" Bolt Cutter with Steel Handles features a 3-point toggle joint that multiplies 50 pounds of hand pressure on the handles to up to 4,000 pounds at the cutting jaws. The lockplate reinforcement keeps the jaw in the correct alignment by preventing the jaw bolts from loosening or turning. The all-purpose, center-cut jaw is made from forged, alloy tool steel which is suitable for soft, medium, and hard metals. One adjust realigns the cutting edges. The cutting capacities for soft and medium jaw material is up to Brinell 300, Rockwell C31. The cutting capacities for hard material is up to Brinell 400, Rockwell C42. The handles have heavy vinyl grips with flat grip ends for 90' cuts.
