The special TorquePlus internal design of this impact socket is a high performance drive configuration which allows efficient socket engagement to fastener flats, rather than the corners. Slippage is minimized with the TorquePlus, as it has a radius-corner design, which shifts the contact area away from the fastener corners and distributes the stresses over a large area of the socket.
