Nuvo Lighting Halifax Collection

Nuvo’s 60W Halifax Series Post light comes with an installation guide. While it is easy to follow, please consult a licensed electrician to complete the installation. Below are some of the steps they will take to complete the installation.

• Before beginning the installation, the electrician will turn off the power and gather all the pieces to the fixture.
• Once they have the pieces together, they will begin the installation.
• To start they will put the glass panels in the fixture and make sure it is secure.
• Then they will install the bulb.
• They will then use finials to secure the base of the fixture.
• Then they will connect the wires from the fixture to the corresponding wires in the wall.
• Once the wires are all connected, the electrician will put the final touches on the fixture and turn the power on.

Although Nuvo Lighting includes an installation guide, we recommend against DIY installation. Please consult a licensed technician to install Nuvo’s Halifax outdoor hanging lights. Below are some of the steps that the electrician will take to hang the outdoor lighting.

• Step 1: The electrician will make sure the power is off.
• Step 2: Then they will gather all the pieces that go with the light fixture.
• Step 3: The electrician will place glass panels into the fixture and screw them in to secure them.
• Step 4: Then they will install the loop to the fixture. Once the loop is installed, they will buckle a chain to the installed fixture and loop.
• Step 5: They will then put the mounting bracket on the junction box using the provided screws.
• Step 6: Once these steps are completed, the electrician will move to fix the wiring of the fixtures to the wires in the wall.
• Step 7: When the wiring is completed, the electrician will secure the canopy to the ceiling and install the lamps (lamps not included).
