Kidde Battery Operated Carbon Monoxide Alarm continuously monitors levels of carbon monoxide and sounds a loud signal if the CO level is elevated beyond a safe level. Battery operated to ensure function in the event of a power outage. Slide out battery door allows immediate access to batteries. Along with alarm, Red LED lights will flash when dangerous levels of CO are detected. Green LED flashes in 30 second intervals to indicate unit function.
