GlobaLux T8 LED Tube

T8 LED Tubelights come in various sizes that will physically fit into an existing fluorescent fixture. The most common of these sizes are 2 foot and 4 foot. Many manufacturer's currently make T8 LED bulbs that will work with the ballast in place but they tend to be more expensive and less efficient. In addition most LED Tube lights will need to be rewired to operate in a fluorescent fixture which can be difficult if you aren't familiar with electrical wiring. We recommend replacing the fixture as well as the Tube lights for optimal performance and the most energy efficient results.

Electronic Ballasts or Electronic Drivers are used to to carry the various loads required to operate LED, fluorescent, and high intensity discharge bulbs. A ballast works as a transformer to regulate the electrical current of power in a light bulb and light fixture. Ballasts vary in function and capability but without a ballast the electrical current would be unregulated and would rapidly increase its voltage power and draw. Most times when a fluorescent bulb is flickering it is due to a bad or failing ballast.
