Dimplex Baseboard Heater

Dimplex baseboard heaters are easy to install, either directly on the floor or a few inches above the floor, depending on the model. If your baseboard heater must be mounted, allow for 1 inch of clearance between the floor and the electric heater.You must have a dedicated outlet to supply power to your heating element. You must also keep flammable materials away from the heater to avoid fire hazards.

Baseboard heaters, typically placed under windows, use convection to circulate warm air throughout a room. Cold air comes through the window and falls. The electric baseboard heater then warms the air. The warm air then rises, cycling cold air back to the heater.
