How to get a ground spike into the ground?
Getting a ground spike into the ground can be easy depending on the soil. If the soil is damp or wet, you can easily place the ground spike into the ground. If the soil is hard, you can pour water over the spot and wait until the soil softens.
Once the soil is soft, mark it with either the ground spike or another tool. Then, you can place the ground spike into the ground. Gently tap the spike into the ground with a hammer or mallet. Make sure to put the spike perfectly straight. This will prevent the light fixtures from being at an angle.
