Can you cut LED Rope LIghts?
Yes, LED Rope lights can be cut. However, they must be cut in a specific way to not damage the rope lights. Follow the guidelines and cut along the visible lines so they can perform to their full potential.
Some LED Rope Lights cannot be cut. Examples of this are the individual IC chips and RGBIC strobe lights because of their technology.
How to hang LED Rope Lights?
To hang an LED rope light, it is important to have all of the tools necessary. The tools that will you need for the installation are:
- Measuring tape
- Dry cloth
- Ladder
- Screws
Before hanging your lights, you should first choose the location where you want them. Decide whether you want them to be indoors or outdoors. Once you find the location, then you will need to dry and clean the surface. After the surface is clean, you can choose how long you want the rope light to be. Then, place cable clips on the wall and clip the lights into the cables. Once the lights are on the wall, you can plug them in and test to see if they work.
