Constructed with the special 3M triangular-shaped ceramic grain technology, the 5" Abrasive Cubitron II Fibre Discs 982C are engineered with sharp, fast-cutting points that require less pressure to always wear evenly, run cool, and maximize mineral breakdown to optimize disc life. Long life ensures a more reliable disc that will require fewer disc changes. These discs can be used wet or dry, as they are made with a stiff fiber backing and strong resin bond that provides durability and tear-resistance for heavyweight applications like high-pressure weld grinding. Specifically made to be compatible with 3M Disc Pad Face Plates and Hubs. Requires use of a disc retainer nut (sold separately).
