How many lumens are needed for an outdoor LED Post Light?
While the number of lumens depends on the use of the LED Post light, it is recommended that you choose a LED Post light between 100 and 400 lumens. Between 100-400 lumens creates a soft, yellow glow perfect for landscape lighting in residential areas. This will help you see your surroundings clearly and feel safer when walking around.
If it is in an area with pedestrians, we recommend an LED Post Light that has around 1000 lumens.
Can you replace LED in a Post Light?
Yes, in most cases, you replace the LED in a post light. Most LED lights will last a long time so you will not have to worry about changing them. However, when it is time to change them, you can replace the existing LED with a new LED. Check the product’s user manual or contact the manufacturer to confirm if bulb replacement is possible.
