What are G-type light bulbs?
G-type light bulbs are globe shaped bulbs that are mainly used for decorative purposes. They come in a variety of different sizes, but CyberTech Lighting offers them in G16 and G25 sizes. G16 bulbs are two inches in diameter and G25 bulbs are a little over 3 inches in diameter.
CyberTech’s globe lights have significant wattage equivalents, meaning that a larger wattage incandescent or halogen bulb can be replaced with a smaller wattage LED bulb, saving power.
What are G-type light bulbs used for?
G-type bulbs are mostly used for decorative applications. You are likely to see globe bulbs in bathroom vanities, theaters, restaurants, and hotels.
