As it instantly bonds to metal, rubber, plastic, and many substrates, this lubricant forms a dirt-repelling barrier that protects and lubricates a variety of surfaces from friction and pressure. As it is harmless to most plastics, metals, and rubbers, this lubricant is recommended to be used for general maintenance on gaskets, transfers belts, and conveyor belts. Lubricant can also be used for a variety of other jobs, such as an assembly lubricant on motors and machinery, as well as a release agent for rubber moldings. 16 oz lubricant resists high temperatures, high pressure, chemicals, and water.
