Green Seal: A Green Building and Eco-Friendly Product Certification Program

What is Green Seal?

Green Seal Inc. is a non-profit organization that promotes sustainability by encouraging organizations to be more eco-friendly. When products and services are awarded Green Seal certification, they are backed with a “greener” reputation. The green seal provides economic benefits, and healthier & safer products, services, and buildings for their consumers. The Green Seal label on a cleaning product, for example, lets consumers know exactly how their product protects human health and the environment. On the other hand, a Green Seal certified building implies that it meets all green quality standards in the construction industry, such as air quality, energy efficiency, lowered carbon emissions, and waste reduction.
