What are wall packs used for?
Wall packs are mainly used for commercial and security outdoor lighting. Their fixture designs and high lumen counts produce a bright light that can illuminate a large area. Any areas that need high visibility at night, such as areas frequented by people or vehicles, can benefit from wall pack lighting. You will most often see wall packs on the outside of commercial buildings, illuminating the sidewalks, entrances, or parking lots surrounding them.
Magnalux’s semi cut-off and forward throw wall packs have a high luminous efficiency rating which allows them to evenly distribute bright light at a downward angle. They are ideal for illuminating wide spans of space in public, commercial, and industrial environments.
Where are wall packs often used?
In general, wall packs are mounted on commercial buildings to provide lighting for ground areas frequented by people or vehicles. Common applications include parking lots, parking garages, entryways, sidewalks, stairwells, recreational facilities, and schools.
