What are the benefits of LED?

LED bulbs are energy efficient and are brighter than both incandescent and halogen lights. 95% of the energy that LED bulbs use is converted into light, with 5% conversion to heat.

What is the difference between a BR40 and PAR40 bulb?

BR40 bulbs offer wide beam angles (greater than 45 degrees) making them ideal for lighting large spaces. PAR40 bulbs are great for spot lights and accent lighting. They generally have a beam angle lower than 45 degrees. While BR bulbs are ideal in recessed downlight fixtures, PAR bulbs are great for track lights and illuminating displays.
