What Does a Splicing Connector do?

Splicing connectors are used to terminate solid conductors, stranded conductors, and fine stranded conductors without the need for tools.

The splicing connect helps to prevent any accidental contact with live parts and can be used with mounting carriers. A voltage test point is also located at the top of the device for safe and easy testing. It can come with 2, 3, or 5 conductors, depending on your needs.

What is an Electrical Splice Box?

This box is filled with non-toxic gel surrounding the splices for waterproofing and is semi-transparent so that it can be examined afterwards. This one-piece design will protect cathodic splice from corrosion, be a quick installation, and won’t cause any mess.

What is a Self-Adhesive Marking Strip?

This particular marking strip allows for marking through a thermal printer or permanent marker. It was designed to be used with a terminal block for chassis mounting. The underpart of the motor would be an example of this.

What are the Different Wire Nut Types?

There are two wire nut types.

Twist-on Wire Nuts


This is a traditional type of wire nut. It functions by twisting the wires together in order to fasten them. The nut itself keeps you from having to touch the bare wires as you twist, adding an extra element of safety to the act of joining wires.

Push-in Wire Nuts


The more contemporary type is when the wires are pushing into a conductor. These allow the wires to function in any electrical project that originally used a twist-on wire nut. To remove the wires, you simply pull and twist.

What Wires Can Push-in Connectors Be Used With?

Push-in wire connectors can be used with solid and stranded wires up to 2.5 mm.
